Coles Bay, Tasmania

Coles Bay lies on the east coast of Tasmania close to the Freycinet National Park. This scene is a distillation of what was there. I was tempted to add the magnificent Pacific Gulls that were there as that is my strongest memory but that’s for a different painting.
